New Resources Provide New Expertise

“As our business continues to grow, we’ve increased staff to provide additional expertise in structural engineering and architectural design,” said Don Kimball, co-founder and President of K2N Crest. “Our most recent new hires allow K2N to continue to maintain high levels of service as we engage with a growing client base and participate in more expansive projects.”

  • Kyle A. Cunningham attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned his Master of Architecture-Structures Option. He is an experienced project manager who previously provided asset and construction management support to a large, regional real estate development company. An engineer-in-training at K2N Crest, Kyle applies the architectural and engineering principles of planning, design, analysis and execution to serve the structural needs of K2N clients.
  • James Brightmore majored in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering at the University of Iowa. He acquired his Fundamentals of Engineering in 2015 and is currently an engineer-in-training with K2N Crest. James is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as Engineers Without Borders.
  • Steven H. Lentz joined K2N in 2015 as an architect and engineer-in-training. Steven has recently relocated from the K2N headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois to join the team at the company’s regional office in Kahului, Hawaii.

“We are excited to bring this new talent into our Illinois organization,” said Kimball. “Our clients are our first priority and the additional resources we have added ensure that we continue to respond to customer needs quickly and effectively.”
