850 West Eastwood

The 850 West Eastwood garage includes two elevated concrete decks (35,000 SF) over a slab-on-grade level. The parking structure is located under a 16-story residential building in Chicago, Illinois. Conducted an initial condition survey of the garage in 2002, and developed three repair schemes including: through deck repairs with overhead and topside patching, top surface replacement with through deck repairs and overhead patching, and complete slab replacement. Opinions of probable costs for the three repair schemes were developed. K2N Crest provided bidding and construction administration services, including on-site observations and field reports.
