ACH Foods – Corporate Office Renovation

ACH Foods wanted to renovate their corporate offices on the Corn Products Campus in Summit, Illinois. The project was approximately 10,500 square feet in size and encompassed the entire second floor of their existing office building. The client wanted a more modern corporate aesthetic for visiting clients and staff alike. The project consisted of a new entrance lobby and waiting room featuring a corrugated metal grain bin that penetrated the roof plane above to create a light well bringing natural light into the center of the space. There were 15 private offices and an open office layout for approximately 18 more employees. A new “state of the art” conference room was included adjacent to the grain bin allowing visitors the opportunity to experience the light filled space as they entered the room.
