Engineers Building Steel Beam Repair

Project consisted of constructing a structural reinforced concrete in-fill foundation grade wall to close off the existing basement from the existing vault. After the vault was backfilled to within two feet of the sidewalk elevation, the sidewalk was removed and a new slab-on-grade sidewalk and curb was constructed.

K2N Crest conducted a field survey of the structural elements and prepared baseline drawings, developed the repair program, compiled repair documents and provided bidding services. Once a repair contractor was selected K2N provided construction administration services. This included on-site observation, reviewing submittals, change orders, payment applications and verifying that the contract documents were followed.
