Garage-Mahal Design

This project was designed for a client that was looking to construct a new building type known as a Garage-Mahal. The concept is that the owner’s 20 automobiles would be kept on the ground floor in a spotless garage, where they could be worked on, as well as stored in a museum like fashion. The second floor was designed for entertaining clients and friends in an upscale atmosphere overlooking the adjacent race track. The third floor was essentially a hotel to allow the owner and his guests to stay over the weekend when auto racing on the adjacent track would normally be scheduled.
