Roof Evaluations for the City of Elgin, IL

The City of Elgin owns and operates over 100 buildings, from small pump houses to their 135,000 square-foot Public Works Garage.

For over a decade, professionals from K2N Crest have performed roof maintenance inspections on these facilities and have assisted the city in over 50 roof replacement projects. These projects have included steep slope roofs using wood shakes, asphalt shingles and clay tile. Low slope projects have used thermoplastic single-ply materials, modified bitumen and both asphalt and coal tar built-up roofing.
