Village of Copper Oaks

Village of Copper Oaks is a town home complex located in Algonquin, IL. There are 23 buildings within the community. Work was completed in two phases over two construction seasons.

Investigated and documented the distress to the roofing and authored a report describing our findings, conclusions and recommendations.

K2N Crest (K2N) developed plans and specifications for the replacement of the roofing. Issued documents for bid, reviewed the bids, conducted interviews of the bidders with the board and provided a recommendation.

During the construction administration phase, assisted in contract negotiations between the owners and contractor. K2N’s objective during construction was to keep the owners informed as to how accurately the contractor was complying with the construction documents. Verified compliance with submittal reviews and site visits to observe work.
